wow - 50% more ...

This is a worry ...

"50% more batteries than other leading brand's every day 4 pack" !?! ... er ... what the .... ?

It is a packet of batteries I bought the other day (dunno how good they are - they were for work and they have not actually been used yet) ... and to think - somebody probably got paid to make up that label!

Ok ... what catchy "brag" will they think of for their next product?
(hmmm ... "double sheets - twice the sheet than leading other brands single sheet"?
or twin pack of undies - 100% more undies than competing brand's single pack undies"?)

er ... what?

Hmmm ... I originally created this blog before we all HAD to move over to the new blogger (well, we didn't have to move ... but we couldn't post any more if we didn't ... LOL) ... of course this one is just sitting here doing nothing now that my main blog (and the 3 or 4 other assorted bloggy experiments I hardly ever post to) is here on the new version of blogger anyway.
btw - yes the move was uneventful ... usually worked ok before, usually works ok now ... subjective opinion is no more or no less fequency of the odd glitches that happen with editing stuff from a computer that is a long way away from where the stuff is and is connected by a phone line.

now where was I?

oh yeah ... this blog has just been sitting here neglected, but I just logged in to blogger/google to post this picture to the blog that I DO post stuff to and I saw the usual list of all my blogs and realised that with the name that this blog has - this picture definitely belongs here!

... I work in the science area of a high school, and this was one of the things that came in the box of various supplies that I ordered - as the label on the upside down packet under the other one says - these are some packets of universal indicator paper (used to dip in stuff to test the pH)
Methinks that English is NOT the first, or for that matter not even the 31st, language of the person who wrote this label:

and the really scary part is ... I think I probably sort of understand what it was supposed to mean ... LOL
(and when I just re-read the first part of what I wrote in this post - I think I might be speaking the same language! ... maybe it rubbed off on me ... or is it just that I am a fast learner? ;-)

Ok that works ... I wonder if it can handle photos ok?

hmmm I guess I had better find a photo to upload ...

... here's one:

I even have a title for it - "AWakeInTheSunset" (that is the file name I gave it when I saved it ... and it isn't meant to have spaces in it, even when it is not being used as a file name ;-)

The only "editing" I did with that image was to crop this bit from a larger photo - it was a picture of a local lake at sunset, and the dog was swimming in the foreground and the ripples at the bottom of the photo are the ones he had just made ... all those amazing colours in the water really were there!

Anyway ... seems it does photos ok ... final proof will be what happens when I hit the "publish" button ... uploading them isn't any quicker/easier
... and nothing else seems that much different either - I usually don't have problems using the beta version of blogger that I use for my usual blog ( www.aykayem.blogspot.com ) ... so I probably won't bother changing that one over yet ... at least not until I find that I want to do something that this one will let me do, that the other one won't ...

... and if/when I do change it over, then that one will still be the one I use because it will be here and it will still be exactly the same from the end you are looking at :-)
so ...
I wonder if I will ever put anything else on this one?

I already have a blog, but ...

... It is on blogger beta and I wanted to know how different the new one works without changing over quite yet ...

I might use this one for something else later ... or I might not.
